The MAME Ring Home Page

Welcome to the MAME WebRing Homepage. This webring was created to bring together sites that deal with various aspects of the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. This includes, but is not restricted to, sites on high scores, tips, cheats, screen shots and general discussion. Sites dealing with rumours are also encouraged to join.

This ring is provided as part of MARP, the MAME Action Replay Page. MARP is the site for MAME high scores. It has over 9,000 high scores, covering almost every game the works in MAME. Not only can you find out how you rate compared to the best players, but also, every score has a recording of the whole game, which you can download and play back in MAME to watch how the score was achieved!

RULES FOR MEMBERSHIP

• Well, your site must be in some way MAME related, I guess.
• You must be willing to add the MAME Ring HTML code to your site. The page with the ring code on it is the page which gets added to the ring.
• Your site must not advertise CDs containing MAME and the ROMs.
• Your site must not provide archives containing all the ROMs in one huge file.
• That's enough rules.

If your site meets the above criteria and you agree to the rules, you may submit your site for acceptance. All you need to do is follow the step-by-step instructions below and you will be placed in the webring queue. Once you have followed all the steps, your site will be reviewed and you will be notified by e-mail of your acceptance. Thank you for your interest!

1. Decide were on your site you want the MAME Ring to show up - choose a URL. Use it when filling out the following form. It will give you a site ID number. Then come back to this page.

2. Copy this horrendous lump of HTML into the page decided upon above. You'll need to replace the "id=1" in 4 places to use your own id number (you'll be told what this number is when you join the ring). Also, replace the "Zwaxy" and the "zwax.marp@gmail.com" with your own name and email address. Please make sure that the URL you gave to the form earlier contains the lump of HTML code. If you hide the Web Ring HTML code away on an obscure page then your site will not be added to the ring.
